  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for 'Parallels Client' (Parallels RAS) and tap Get to install.
  3. Launch the Parallels Client app.
  4. Tap the '+' button to Add Connection.
  5. Choose 'Add RAS Connection'.
  6. In Server, enter: desktop.alsie.com (or your organization's RAS gateway).
  7. Leave Port as default (443) unless IT provided a different port.
  8. Under Credentials, enter your company username and password.
  9. If your account uses Entrust 2FA/OTP, complete the second factor when prompted.
  10. Tap Save to store the connection.

  • If sign‑in fails, verify your password hasn't expired and that 2FA is working.
  • For gateway changes or advanced settings, contact IT support.
  • If you see a certificate warning, verify the gateway address and proceed only if it matches company guidance.

Hide Remote Desktop Connection Bar

Unpin the RDP connection bar so it auto-hides

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. While in your RDP session, move the mouse to the very top of the screen to reveal the connection bar.
  2. Click the push-pin icon (Unpin) on the right side of the connection bar.
  3. Move your mouse away from the top area and wait a few seconds.
  4. The bar should auto-hide. Move the mouse back to the top to show it again when needed.

Helpful Tips

  • If the bar doesn't hide, ensure the Unpin (push-pin) is toggled off.
  • You can still access the bar by moving the mouse to the top edge.

Printer Setup and Troubleshooting

Parallels Password Character Restrictions

Excel Black Boxes Display Issue
